A rare self-portrait...

Stopped off at the highest point in New Jersey today...As far as state high points go, this is a nice one, located inside a state park, and well marked, I'd say. I believe the marker is 220 feet high...

This is about the 6th or 7th (state high point) for me...and while I'd like to get all 50, I think Washington and Alaska might be a bit much...

Post:
-Photomerge of 4 shots (landscape orientation)
-Some touchup (clone/copy/paste) on the merge points
-Slight shadow/highlight adjustment
-Levels adjustment
-Some distortion correction

Well, it's that time of year again...wait- What am I saying? Why are we playing baseball again? I don't really know...But it was fun...

This shot chosen purely on the expression...I liked it-

And on a side note, I really wish they'd quit parking cars in right and center field...It really wasn't a photo-friendly ballpark today...

Crash and Burn-

Just a fun pic today...This is about how I feel after processing and sorting pics all day...and night--I'm currently up to May, which is not great, but considering I was on January just a couple of weeks ago, I'l take it-

And thanks for the comments on yesterday's bridge-- That was a pic I originally culled back when I took it...Glad I gave it a second chance-

And just as a side note...I noticed there were over 90 posts (daily pics) between my last one and this one! About as many as I've ever seen... Anyone know the actual number of active (or semi-active) posters? Just wondering...

IMG_9744b - "Early Morning Solitude"

An early morning walk around a lake today- This shot really shows how peaceful it was- almost perfectly still water and just enough fog.

This shot is just about straight from the camera (a rarity from me), all I did was correct about one degree of rotation. Maybe I could do a little on the exposure, but this is one of the few times that the picture looks exactly like I thought it should have, or exactly like I remember it-

Would have been a close play at the plate...
(Can you find the ball?)

Seems a little early, but baseball started again tonight... Not sure when it took over the fall, used to just be a spring/summer sport...

A night game this time..a little too dark for my equipment, but I took a few anyway...
11-5, good guys--which makes us undefeated, for now-

Puzzled-

Someone was working a puzzle when I got home today....They're going to be one piece short, now...

I tried to at least make it a little interesting and have the shadow go the "wrong" way....Maybe I'll actually get outside during daylight hours this weekend. :)

A well-lit house on the way home...not mine, though. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!
